Heriot – bench

The client wanted two drystone seats created for the front garden of their shooting estate in the Scottish Borders.  Working to a rough design idea provided by the client, we created a “flying seagull” shape completed with thick sawn pine planks used for the seats.

The seats incorporate lovely curves to give a pleasing shape, and are finished with a turf top.  The structure was created in only four days.

The stone used was recycled from collapsed drystone walls from the estate.

Wallers – Richard Love and Jason Hoffman.
