Perth – garden stone walls and steps

Some garden stone walls just take overly long to complete.

This one in Perth had difficult access, so all the materials were hard to get on site.

I hadn’t used the stone for a long time and it turned out to be challenging to build with – none of the carbide chisels or the hammers would cut or trim the way I wanted, so I had to resort to the cordless grinder and flush-cut blade. It just slowed the job down so much. And made the place horrendously dusty.

And then there was the rain that turned the site into a mud pit.

All in all quite a tricky wee job.
