More before and after shots!

In my last post I put up lots of progress pics from the recent job in Carlops.  This time, I’ve put together some more before and after images to show the amazing difference that a bit of stone work can make to landscape or garden.

Alva Glen – Queen’s Diamond Jubilee bench.

In this job we built a stone bench in a space beside a pond, where there was an old information board.  We used an existing large stone as the end piece of the bench at one end.  It fitted the space really well

Bathgate – free-standing wall

The client asked for stone from old field dykes on her Father’s farm to be recycled and rebuilt as a boundary wall outside of her home. The house was exposed to a busy road and the wall we built provided a barrier to the traffic as well as setting off the garden to good effect.

Carlops – Retaining walls

In this job we built two terraces with high retaining walls to hold back the earth bank, with a staircase through the middle and a bench on one side.
