Body of work – 16 years of dry stone walls

Collessie – wonky wall

Last week my LinkedIn account told me it had been 16 years since I started working as professional building dry stone walls. It got me thinking about how many jobs I’ve done in that time. I’ve put together a list of the locations, descriptions and some images of stonework I’ve done from 2010 to the present day – Dumfries is the current job.

There’s 112 listed here although there are a a few I can’t recall and some minor repair jobs I’ve not listed. Plus a whole heap from when I first started getting paid to wall up to 2010.

Most of the work is my own, although I have had help from several wallers over the years – some for longer periods, some for only a few days.
